I am not just talking about more cleaning tools, but even stuff that would maybe let you pimp out your mop would have been cool. Working towards that high score cleaning ranking is good and all, but I wish there was some fun unlockable that they could have included. In it, the player assumes the role of a spaceship janitor who also happens to be the only survivor of an alien massacre that happened on the ship. More To DoĪs much fun as Viscera Cleanup Detail is I do wish there was more in the way of progression here. Viscera Cleanup is a very peculiar videogame indeed.

We had a blast doing this, we were cleaning, but messing with the game's physics was something that legit made me laugh out loud on many occasions. However, the game is clever in that it lets you screw around as well. You see, cleaning together to get the best score is great. You can also play with friends and this is where the real fun is. You are striving towards getting a good ranking at the end of each level. You can clean up by yourself if you want and I found the game to have a rather relaxing vibe going on when I did that. I do think they maybe could have had a couple of other things to help your cleaning if I am honest. One is a water bucket that lets you mop and clean, there is a trach bucket you can put things like bullet casings and body parts in and there is also an incinerator that gets rid of the trash for you. I am not talking about the multiplayer just yet! What I mean is that you have three things that can help you out along your way. You can come across notes as you are cleaning and these work wonders to flesh out what happened and it was something that I actually found very interesting.

Viscera Cleanup Detail does have a bit of a story running through it for you.
